If you’re expecting a Will & Kate at The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Update, I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong joint. But if you’re interested in an artist who wrote a song for the royal lovebirds that landed her on E True Hollywood Stories (The Kate and Pippa Edition!), well, Bob’s your uncle, you’ve found her.
On Tuesday June 6th at 1pm, my live guest on Jet City Stream, Laura Warshauer, who lived on the same dorm floor as Will & Kate when they were freshmen at St Andrews, will tell us all about the origins of the song and how it landed her on E True Hollywood Stories (The Kate & Pippa Edition!).
Laura, who is a Holly Award winning young songwriter, hails from Red Bank, New Jersey, known far and wide as the home of Bruce Springsteen. So in addition to getting to know her and hearing a couple of songs, we’ll get the dirt on what the boss wears to the supermarket. I’m guessing Uggs and sweats. But fancy sweats by Juicy Couture; not the ones you get at Costco.
Anyway, there’s so much to Laura’s story: she was signed by L.A. Ried, but left the major label world. Jay-z’s a fan. She’s on tour with Bob Schneider, one of the nicest most talented worst interviews ever! I’m not even sure where to begin with this artist! But how about here:
